Septem Partners Oy is an investment bank providing advisory services in cross border mergers and acquisitions, target and partner search and fund raising in very focused market areas.
Our clients are typically Nordic and other Western European companies doing acquisitions in Russia and Belarus, and Japanese companies doing acquisitions in Western Europe or Russia.

Helsinki office provides services with a team of 8 people. As the company head office it offers extensive industry and transaction experience and secures the necessary prerequisites to meet the criteria of our Western European clients establishing themselves or expanding in the Russian and Belorussian markets. In addition it has accumulated wide experience working for Japanese clients in the European market place. The joint team with Finantec Advisors (www.finantec.fi) offers further access in particular to fund raising in the Finnish and Scandinavian markets.

Tokyo representative office works closely with IBS Securities, a local investment bank with some 30 staff members. Our Tokyo office is in the IBS premises which offers us the necessary visibility in the local market place. Our close cooperation with IBS and certain other sector specific senior advisers (see under Team) offers us access to various industry sectors in Japan to cover the various customer needs we are faced with.

In Russia we operate through preferred partners. These partners are leading advisory firms in their respective markets. They work closely with the Helsinki team which has several years of experience in execution in the Russian markets. This approach enables us to adapt the execution team to the specific needs in each case, and it gives us the necessary insight into the local M&A markets.

In Minsk we operate locally to get the necessary market insights, as well as contacts with the authorities. For execution purposes we cover the financial due diligence and coordinate the work for legal due diligence with local specialists. Overall process management and negotiations are conducted in close cooperation with the Helsinki or Tokyo office as the case may be.
